Ocean Village

Free-spirited and unconventional, Ocean Village is a far cry from traditional cruising. Created for 30 - 50 somethings who like to explore new places and try new things, an Ocean Village holiday is a heady mix of pulse-racing action and chilled-out relaxation. With no formal dress codes, Ocean Village's casual on-board style includes high quality 24/7 buffet dining, plus waiter service options at the Bistro with a menu created by TV celebrity chef James Martin. Calling at six destinations every seven days, Ocean Village offers a choice of Mediterranean and Caribbean itineraries. These can be combined into a fortnight's cruise or added to a week's hotel stay in Barbados, Majorca or Crete to create a 14-night stay-and-cruise option. Action ashore options include abseiling/rappelling, river rafting, Jeep safaris, wine tasting and mountain biking using the ship's own fleet.

P&O Cruises Australia

The pioneer of Australian cruising, P&O Cruises celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2007 - marking the 1932 departure of the 23,000-ton liner Strathaird, which sailed from Australia on a five-night round trip from Sydney to Brisbane and Norfolk Island. Nearly 75 years later, P&O Cruises Australia continues to offer holidays tailored to Australian cruise passengers and now carries a diverse clientele totaling more than 100,000 people each year. P&O Cruises Australia has expanded considerably over recent years and will soon boast three cruise ships. In addition to the 47,000-ton Pacific Sun and 35,000-ton Pacific Star, the 70,000-ton Pacific Dawn, Australia's first superliner, will join the fleet in October 2007. With a choice of departures from Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland, P&O Cruises offers a huge range of destinations throughout the South Pacific and Australia.
